Co-Production Meetings

24 - 25 Nov

The Co-Production Meetings are Porto Industry Days’ platform dedicated to film and audiovisual projects in development or pre-production, submitted by independent production companies legally established in countries participating in the Creative Europe MEDIA strand.

Part of Porto/Post/Doc: Film & Media Festival, the Co-Production Meetings promote contact between selected projects and producers, funds, sales agents, distributors, programmers, platforms, consultants and other invited industry professionals.

The programme aims to support financing, co-production and national and international circulation strategies, creating the conditions for relevant professional meetings and the development of artistic, financial and business partnerships.

Over two days, selected projects will take part in a preparatory session, present their projects in English to invited professionals and benefit from a personalised agenda of one-to-one meetings. Each presentation will have a maximum duration of 8 minutes, including a teaser or mood video with a maximum duration of 3 minutes.

The selection will prioritise projects with a strong authorial vision, development maturity, international co-production potential, financial viability and the capacity to benefit from a professional market context. The programme also seeks to encourage diversity of territories, formats, film genres, creative teams and artistic approaches.
