From Jerusalem and the power of architecture to the life of a young miner in Mexico; from the influence of dark money on U.S. politics to the critical memory of the siege of Fiume; from the invasion of Ukraine to the wildfire crisis in Galicia; and from precarious American housing to a rural summer in Russia, the films reveal lives, resilience, and human fragility, crossing borders and narratives with sensitivity and a critical eye.
