When We Were Kids It Was Always Summer was the title (stolen to a song and) chosen by the directors Duarte Coimbra and David Pinheiro Vicente for the program to be presented in Porto/Post/Doc.

After Cannes and Berlin, the young promises of Portuguese cinema bring to Porto a selection of the first films that have just come out of schools and held between 2015 and 2018. In addition to Amor, Avenidas Novas, by Duarte Coimbra, and Onde o Verão Vai (Episódios da Juventude), by David Pinheiro Vicente, both winners inside and outside the country, will also be screened Luís Severo - tChuca, Duarte Coimbra, A Minha Juventude , Rita Quelhas, Rochas e Minerais, by Miguel Tavares and A Barriga de Mariana by Frederico Mesquita.

The session When We Were Kids It was Always Summer takes place on the first day of the festival, November 24, at 6:30 p.m., at Teatro Municipal do Porto - Rivoli.

Porto/Post/Doc takes place between November 24 and December 2 at Teatro Municipal do Porto - Rivoli, Cinema Passos Manuel, Cinema Trindade, Planetário do Porto - Centro Ciência Viva, Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto and Escola das Artes – UCP.

The 2018 edition of Porto/Post/Doc has the support of Câmara Municipal do Porto, ICA - Instituto do Cinema e Audiovisual – Ministério da Cultura, CVRVV - Vinho Verde, Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, Acción Cultural Española - AC/E, da Cinemateca Portuguesa - Museu do Cinema and ArtWorks.
