Porto/Post/Doc announces a new collaboration with FIDLab, an international development and co-production laboratory promoted by FIDMarseille – Festival International de Cinéma de Marseille. This partnership will include the integration of one of the projects selected at FIDLab 2025 into the Porto/Post/Doc industry platform, reinforcing the festival’s mission to support creative cinema and foster European and international co-production networks.
The 17th edition of FIDLab will take place on 10 and 11 July 2025, during the 36th edition of FIDMarseille (8–13 July), bringing together 11 projects selected from 417 applications. These projects will be presented to international professionals and include works at different stages of development – from writing to post-production – coming from Mexico, France, Germany, Haiti, Hong Kong, Portugal, among other countries.
This new axis of cooperation strengthens Porto/Post/Doc as an active agent in the circulation of bold and innovative cinematic works, promoting dialogue between different contexts of contemporary production and creation.
