Porto/Post/Doc will travel to Bologna on June 7 and 8 to participate in the Green Frames: Festival Sustainability Think Tank, a two-day workshop taking place at Cinema Modernissimo during Bio to B – Industry Days | Doc (Biografilm Festival).

Created in collaboration with the Doc Around Europe network, Green Frames invites festival teams to rethink the environmental, social, and economic impact of their events. With the support of sustainability expert Marta García Larriu (Another Way Film Festival), ecosemiotician Nicola Zengiaro, and carbon analyst Alessio Baglioni, participants will:

· share case studies on low-impact production, travel, and waste management;
· explore “multispecies” festival design that considers both human and non-human life;
· co-write a Decalogue of Good Practices — a practical manifesto for more sustainable festivals.

This initiative will gather festivals from the Doc Around Europe network — including DocsBarcelona, DOK.fest München, MakeDox, FIPADOC, and VERZIÓ — alongside guest festivals such as DocPoint and Porto/Post/Doc.

The outcomes of Green Frames will serve as a blueprint for Porto/Post/Doc’s eco-friendly actions in the 2025 edition.
