by Porto/Post/Doc / 24 09 2018

Arché film studio, aimed at young film professionals, returns to Porto for a second edition in a renewed partnership between Porto/Post/Doc and Doclisboa.

Applications for the second edition of Arché in Porto are open between 24 September and 17 October. Arché is a professional laboratory for the development of films and is aimed at projects in the different stages of production.

The 2nd edition of Arché in Porto takes place between 27 November and 1 December, within the festival Porto/Post/Doc. In this edition, Luciano Rigolini, Swiss producer, will be the coordinator of the project development workshop. In addition to that, Arché will also include the public presentation of the developed projects for an audience of professionals in the film industry.

Directors and producers from Portugal, or from any other official Portuguese speaking country, Spain and Latin American countries may apply. The responsible for the winning project will be awarded an artistic residence, awarded by a specialized jury. The purpose of the renewal of the partnership between Porto/Post/Doc and Doclisboa is to broaden and encourage creation, dialogue and collaboration networks and, on the other hand, to bring the laboratory closer to decentralized contexts, specifically in the northern region of the country and Galicia, looking for a stronger and moving Arché.

The regulation of the laboratory can be consulted here. For more information contact arche@doclisboa.org.
