The Minister of the Environment, João Matos Fernandes, will be present in the presentation's session of the film An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power, by Bonni Cohen and Jon Shenk, on 30th November, at Auditório Manoel de Oliveira, Teatro Municipal do Porto – Rivoli. The film protagonized by Al Gore, ex-Vice President of the United States of America and peace's Nobel Prize winner, is the sequel of An Inconvenient Truth (2006) and it treats the new reality of climate changes.
Besides the opening by the minister, the presentation of the session will be hosted by Dario Oliveira, director of the festival, and the environmentalist Pedro Macedo (Climate Reality Project Portugal) and Francisco Ferreira (ZERO), After the screening, the discussion will go on in a table round that gets together Alexandre Quintanilha (President of the National Assembly's Comission of Education and Science), Filipe Araújo (Vice-President of the Porto's Municipality - Innovation and Environment), Paula Sequeiros (Coletivo Clima), Paulo Magalhães (Casa Comum da Humanidade/Zero). Sara Silva, representing the project Cidade+, will moderate the conversation.
