"Kmêdeus" follows the trace of a mysterious homeless eccentric in São Vicente, Cape Verde. Remembered as both lunatic and artist, he remains a figure of fascination and uncertainty. Through dancer António Tavares, whose performance is inspired by his life, the film moves through Mindelo, its music, and carnival, searching for the roots of one of the world's oldest Creole communities.
