"Local Sensations" begins with an essay by architect Chatri Prakitnonthakan on designing a monument that won't become a shrine. Shot in B&W 16mm, the film moves through an arborist's tour, a glassblowing workshop, and drawing games among students. Through spaces, bodies, and gestures, it reflects on monuments, locality, and sanctification in contemporary Thai society.
