Speaker: Giovanni Pompili
Giovanni Pompili is an Italian producer known for his commitment to independent cinema and international co-production. Founder of Kino Produzioni in Rome, he has produced and co-produced award-winning works widely showcased at festivals such as Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Locarno, and Toronto. His most recent projects include “The History of Sound” (2025) — Cannes — and “Polvo serán” (2024) — winner at TIFF Toronto. He is also known for “Alcarràs” (Golden Bear, Berlinale 2022) and “Sole” (Best First Film, European Film Awards 2020). A member of international networks such as EAVE, ACE Producers, Berlinale Talents, and TorinoFilmLab Alumni, Giovanni also serves as tutor and consultant for development programmes including First Cut Lab and Full Circle Lab. Through Kino Produzioni, he has established himself as one of the leading voices of a new generation of European producers.
