Born in Paris in 1990, Lina Soualem, daughter of an Algerian father and a Palestinian mother, has built an intimate body of work where memory, exile, and heritage intertwine. Porto/Post/Doc 2025 dedicates a special programme to her work, presenting her feature films, a carte blanche, and the series “Oussekine.” Her deeply human cinema explores identity, belonging, and the scars left by history and geopolitics.
