In 2018, we invited the Zinebi film festival for a carte blanche where we met the young Basque director Maria Elorza. She made short films in which she traced her life, her family, her friends, collecting fragments of little things that showed us the corners of the house.
She has worked as an audiovisual expert since 2013 and has filmed several short films. Her works have been selected and awarded at film festivals such as San Sebastián, Málaga, Sevilla, Punto de Vista, Documenta Madrid or Zinebi. In 2023 she wrote and direct A los libros y a las mujeres canto ( To books and women I sing), an ode to the magnificent power of literature and the role of women in this civilisational journey.
