There is a sound that is as old as the invention of the wheel, the sound of groaning wood of the oxcart. This sound, which has disappeared from urban life and has become almost extinct in the West, translates a way of life, a rhythm and a relationship with place. But one has to know how to listen in order to hear the moan of a wheel. Gemer portrays a sound that was music, then noise and now is only silence.
