Jon Uriarte, currently the curator of digital programmes at the Photographer’s Gallery in London, will host the project development at the 180 Media Academy. 

Through examples of experimental video art and cinema, Jon will show ways of appropriating online content to experiment with making new connections in the exploration of new themes. 

Participants will be challenged to pick one of the themes that defined the year, or will define the year and decade ahead, to construct a narrative and produce a media output.
