This story begins in Paris after the Third World War and the nuclear destruction of the entire surface of the earth. The hero is the guinea pig of scientists trying to establish a transtemporal corridor. Elected by his jails because of his good visual memory, he obsessively preserves a mental image: an event from his childhood at the Orly airport pontoon.
