Maboku was born in Angola and lived since he was a child in Bairro do Pendão, in Queluz, where he developed his style from youth culture. He was part of the collective Piquenos DJs do Gueto (with Lilocox, Liofox, Dadifox, Firmeza), with whom he edited the debut vinyl split EP "B.N.M. / P.D.D.G." at the end of 2013. It was followed by EP "Roots of Root" by C.D.M. (Casa da Mãe Produções) at Príncipe, an important milestone in the history of the record label and in the musical culture.
