With precision and dedication, the staff of a Museum of Natural History are preparing for a new exhibition. While the old collection is taken down, new arrangements of animals are being prepared. With the aim of preserving and providing knowledge of the natural world, the museum’s taxidermists are reconstructing, replicating and immortalising animals for public display. The film explores the modern relationship between humans and nature; how we try to connect with it, and yet, how we always seem to be becoming more and more disconnected.
