Despite Genti's persistence in being heard, her mother does not care. Caught between his desire to adopt a puppy, his mother's ignorance and an unpleasant family quarrel, Genti jumps over the fence choosing his own way by joining a gypsy boy, Xeni, to find his own little dog.
