One country, one family. The country is emerging from a dictatorship. The family is still mourning the death of their father, the Falangist poet Leopoldo Panero. The conversations full of hypocrisy and rancour between the widow and her children, also poets, were interpreted at the time as an allegory of the Franco regime's decomposition after the death of the dictator. The disenchantment thus brings the outburst of a family and a country still tormented by the figure of the tyrant father. (Iván Villarmea Álvarez)
