San Cristóbal is a popular neighborhood in Madrid. Its stories are the stories of its residents. Some live the present, others remember the past, like José, an elderly resident with whom the director holds an imaginary conversation about the transformations of the neighborhood. The camera, however, accompanies the children. We see their games on the street and in the park. Most are children of immigrants: they are Madrilenians of gypsy, Moroccan, Ecuadorian, Dominican origin. Their memory will be the future memory of the neighborhood. (Iván Villarmea Álvarez)
