The independent American cinema has a few heroes. One of them is Lionel Rogosin, an autodidact director who did some intense documentaries on the reality of marginalized groups in the 50s and 60s. In 2015, we began a retrospective of this author, with the exhibition of two documentaries, among which "On the Bowery". As his films are being restored, Porto/Post/Doc will screen them.
