PORTUGUESE PREMIERE
In "Verengo" we found a melancholic serenity on the bucolic landscapes of a farm in Galicia, where time seems to have a singular pace. The film, which starts with a home video with more than 20 years, has an intimate tone of the day-to-day life of a family and its little rituals. In this place, lost in the mountains and isolated from the agitation of the rest of the world, the hypnotic images of nature reveal the true origins of this family, but also a way of life that extinguishes itself in each new generation.
