"Shadow Words" is aimed at 1st cycle primary school students and proposes the exploration of independent cinema as a vehicle for developing verbal and audiovisual communication. Guided by artists Inês Azevedo and Joana Mateus, the students watch short films and engage in activities focused on language games and the creation of visual micro-synopses. The project culminates in the staging of a shadow theatre performance based on the participants' original creations.
